Quarter One

  • Truro vestry begins praying about how and when to send the Seawright’s and assist in the planting of a daughter church.

  • Mike begins fundraising, as Mike and Jenny continue to wait and pray.

  • Mike begins to develop early plans, specifically as they relate to fund development.

Quarter Two

  • Truro is invited into the discernment process.

  • Mike continues fundraising and begins to have conversations with interested individuals.

  • Administrative details begin to pick up speed (branding, web, budgets, systems, etc.)

Quarter Three

  • A core team begins to form, and a series of “Vision Nights” are held to share more about the plant and to invite participation.

  • The Seawright’s Burke home group transitions specifically towards the plant.

  • Teams begin to be fleshed out, and the vision/mission/strategy begin to take clearer shape.

  • Prayer, recruiting, and planning for staffing and a meeting space begins.

Quarter Four

  • The core teams transitions to a “Launch Team.” Leadership teams are developed, and leadership roles begin to be filled, including staff positions.

  • Kids Ministry, Youth Ministry, Worship Ministry, Small Group Ministry, and Hospitality Ministry begins to take shape.

  • The Launch Team begins working towards “preview” services while hosting a handful of “fun events” to build/grow community.

  • Meeting space identified.
