Quarter One
Truro vestry begins praying about how and when to send the Seawright’s and assist in the planting of a daughter church.
Mike begins fundraising, as Mike and Jenny continue to wait and pray.
Mike begins to develop early plans, specifically as they relate to fund development.
Quarter Two
Truro is invited into the discernment process.
Mike continues fundraising and begins to have conversations with interested individuals.
Administrative details begin to pick up speed (branding, web, budgets, systems, etc.)
Quarter Three
A core team begins to form, and a series of “Vision Nights” are held to share more about the plant and to invite participation.
The Seawright’s Burke home group transitions specifically towards the plant.
Teams begin to be fleshed out, and the vision/mission/strategy begin to take clearer shape.
Prayer, recruiting, and planning for staffing and a meeting space begins.
Quarter Four
The core teams transitions to a “Launch Team.” Leadership teams are developed, and leadership roles begin to be filled, including staff positions.
Kids Ministry, Youth Ministry, Worship Ministry, Small Group Ministry, and Hospitality Ministry begins to take shape.
The Launch Team begins working towards “preview” services while hosting a handful of “fun events” to build/grow community.
Meeting space identified.
